Ceylon teas are from Sri Lanka, an Island off the southeast coast of India. Sri Lanka is the 2nd largest exporter of tea in the world. Strong and full yet delicately flavored. Ceylon teas have a mildly sweet aroma reminiscent of honeysuckle.

The leaf almost coral black, large, loose and slightly curled. Formosa teas are actually smoked over a fire to impart a distinctive smokey-tarry scent and flavor. This tea is an acquired taste. Very similar to Russian Caravan.
